However, this lead may not be permanent, as Johnson has several big projects lined up and could regain his place soon. But if Ford returns in the upcoming ‘Avengers’ films- ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, his figures could go up even further. With these films likely to cross the $2 billion mark, Ford could take his career to even greater heights and surpass ‘The Rock’.

Hurt also played the character in major films like ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and ‘Black Widow’, but after his death in 2022, the role was given to Ford. Casting the 81-year-old Ford in the role was a bold decision, as he is almost a decade older than Hurt.
Looking at Marvel’s upcoming film schedule, it seems that the stars of the MCU have a very busy time ahead. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set to begin shooting soon, while ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ will wrap next year.
