The episode starts with Arshi telling Anirudh that she has talked to Srishti. She says that if Lalan will stay in the same house, then they should not stay in Bose house. Anirudh tells her that Lalan owns a big part of that house. He also says that he has no problem staying with Lalan.
Arshi scolds him that he is talking as if Lalan is some great person. Anirudh replies that Lalan is really a good person because he married the person he loved and now he is living a happy life with his family. Arshi asks him if he is saying that he did not marry the person he loved. Anirudh replies that he did not say anything like that. Arshi says that from his words it seems like he is regretting the decision of marrying her. Anirudh explains to her that she is thinking too much. He says that Arshi is the mother of his child and that is the most important thing. But Arshi says that he never said that he loves her.
She says that he is staying with her just because of the child. She then asks what if in the future Lalan asks her to do household chores? Anirudh tries to explain to her that no one will force her to work as she is pregnant. Arshi angrily says that if she does not do anything to stop Apu and Lalan then she might take a big step. Saying this, she leaves from there.
Meanwhile Chotan tells Tanuja that Bipasha has refused to help him. He says that the partnership between Tanuja and Bipasha is over now. Lal says that he has to go for breakfast with his colleague and he takes Bipasha with him. Apu tells Tanuja that this is the real face of Bipasha. She then asks Tanuja to make breakfast. On the other hand, Vihaan’s father tells Ketki that they are celebrating Uttarayan, so forget everything else. Prachi asks Riddhi to take Priyanshi from there.
She also says that Vihaan and his wife are coming. Ketki warns Prachi not to mention Vihaan’s wife. The neighbours tell Ketki that she should forget the past and accept Vihaan’s wife. But Ketki says that Vihaan’s wife has to be under her control. She also says that if Vihaan opposes anything then she has to leave the house. Prachi says that Vihaan likes Ketaki’s handmade food, so Ketaki should cook. The neighbours also agree with Prachi. Ketki says that she wants her daughters-in-law to cook delicious food like her.
When Vinayak returns home, Srishti tells him that Arshi has told her that Jhanak is missing. Vinayak angrily says that Shrishti will be happy now and blames him for Jhanak’s disappearance. Shrishti fears that Anirudh might go in search of Jhanak. But Vinayak assures her that this won’t happen as Anirudh is now married. He then calls Arshi and asks if Anirudh is planning to go to Mumbai.
Arshi says that there is nothing like that. Vinayak tells her that if Anirudh has taken any such decision then he should tell him first. He advises Shrishti to correct her mistakes and leaves from there. After this, Vihaan’s father tells Ketki that she should welcome Vihaan’s wife. But Ketki refuses and tells Prachi to welcome Vihaan’s wife. Neighbors say that Ketki might like Vihaan’s wife. But Ketki says that girls who are too educated are not good.
Vihaan’s father tries to make her understand that their son is coming home after many years so she should not behave like this. But Ketki says that she is sad because she herself did not choose the girl for Vihaan and she could not even attend his wedding. She also says that just because Vihaan’s wife is coming from abroad, it does not mean that she should fly away. Vihaan’s father tries to calm her down. Neighbors say that Vihaan is sensible and must have taught everything to his wife. But Ketki says that Vihaan has fallen into his wife’s trap.
Vihaan’s father makes her understand that she should first meet his wife. Just then Riddhi comes there and tells that Vihaan has come. Ketki asks everyone to leave. But Vihaan’s father says that they will surely go as their son has come home after so many years.
Ketki gets emotional and picks up the aarti thaali and runs towards the door. Vihaan stands at the door. He first touches Ketki’s feet, then his father’s feet. He then hugs Ketki. Ketki cries and says she knew Vihaan got separated from the family because of his wife. But Vihaan defends his wife and says he wanted to come even two years ago. Ketki asks him if he forgot what he did. She expresses her wish to meet her grandson Ahaan. Just then Sarika brings Jhanak. Ketki gets shocked to see Jhanak.
