Sunny Deol recently met the media during the trailer launch of his upcoming film Jaat in Delhi. On this occasion, he spoke openly about his father Dharmendra’s health and his special relationship with the late Manoj Kumar.
Recently, a picture of Dharmendra went viral on social media, in which his eye was bandaged. This created a wave of concern among the fans. Clarifying on this, Sunny Deol said, “Papa is absolutely fine. It was just a small operation for cataract. There is nothing to worry about.” Along with this, Sunny also got emotional and remembered the friendship between his father Dharmendra and Manoj Kumar. He said, “Manoj ji came to the industry along with our father. Both had a deep friendship.
Manoj ji has always been like a father to us. In my childhood, I have often seen him with my father.” Sunny Deol also said that Manoj Kumar’s films gave rise to the feeling of patriotism. He said, “The films he made were based on India and were very lovely. Those films started a new wave of patriotism.” Sunny finally said, “That time cannot come back, but his memories and his work will always remain with us.”
