Mangal Lakshmi: The episode begins with Sowmya confronting Mangal, declaring her intent to take legal action against her. Sowmya accuses Mangal of attempting to abort her baby, a claim Mangal admitted publicly. Kusum pleads with Sowmya to reconsider, but she refuses and starts to make a call to the authorities.
In a desperate attempt to intervene, Kusum turns to Adit, asking him to stop Sowmya. Adit, however, expresses his disappointment in Kusum, stating that he expected her to support him rather than defend Mangal. Furious, Adit vows not to forgive Mangal and threatens to sue the entire hospital before storming out.
Kusum, distressed, questions Mangal about why she took the blame for her actions. Mangal stops her from revealing the truth to Adit, making Kusum swear secrecy. Mangal explains that Adit and her relationship is already strained, and if the truth comes out, it could irreparably damage their bond. Concerned about Mangal’s future, Kusum worries that the police may arrest her.
Meanwhile, Jia informs Gayatri over the phone that her task has been completed, and Gayatri assures Jia that she will fulfill her part of the plan. Their conversation is interrupted by Karthik, who suspects they are talking about him. Gayatri dismisses his concerns and quickly ends the call.
Later, Gayatri encourages Karthik and Lakshmi to perform a special pooja at the temple, believed to help couples conceive. However, her suggestion upsets Karthik, who leaves after expressing his frustration. Gayatri remarks to Lakshmi that Karthik deeply loves children but seems to be behaving unusually. She then asks Lakshmi to prepare coffee for Karthik, promising to talk to him herself.
On a phone call with the police inspector, Sowmya learns that her pregnancy report is required to file an FIR against Mangal. Frustrated, she cuts the call after a heated exchange. Adit, meanwhile, is at the hospital, confronting staff over their alleged involvement in the attempted abortion without Sowmya’s consent. He demands justice and asks Sowmya if the police are on their way.
Kusum once again pleads with Sowmya to forgive Mangal, but Adit sharply criticizes her. Ultimately, Sowmya decides not to press charges, citing concerns about the emotional trauma it could cause Akshat and Ishana. The hospital staff, in turn, dismisses the nurse involved, who discovers crucial blood test results for Sowmya and plans to inform Kusum.
Gayatri confronts Karthik about his lack of interest in having children. Karthik reveals that he believes love is essential between a couple before starting a family. He explains that his marriage to Lakshmi was based on compromise, and he needs time for genuine feelings to develop. Lakshmi overhears the conversation and leaves, disheartened. Gayatri presses Karthik about his feelings for Jia, but he denies any lingering emotions, reiterating his need for time.
Elsewhere, Indu prevents Lakshmi from falling down the stairs and advises her to be more careful.
Sowmya and Adit return home, where Sowmya laments that her child will be deemed illegitimate since she is not Adit’s legal wife. Mangal steps in, proposing a solution—she will divorce Adit, allowing him to marry Sowmya. She urges Adit to begin the divorce paperwork immediately.
The episode concludes with Lakshmi attempting to discuss Karthik’s earlier remarks, only to find him fast asleep.
