Choton intervenes, trying to explain the situation to Dadi, who comments on how Jhanak’s presence has caused upheaval in the family. Dadi remarks, “This is a family matter, but Jhanak’s actions have brought challenges to us.” Jhanak, visibly frustrated, declares, “I may be married in the eyes of society, but in reality, I’m trapped in a marriage that I never wanted. All I seek is freedom.”
Anirudh, overcome with guilt, admits, “I never intended to harm you. I only wanted to protect you. I’m sorry if my actions ruined your life.” Jhanak’s voice trembles as she replies, “You’ve left me in a situation where no one will accept me. Who will marry me now?”
Meanwhile, Tanuja tries to convince Dadi that Jhanak wouldn’t have called Anirudh if it weren’t necessary. Choton defends Jhanak, explaining, “She’s saved Anirudh’s life multiple times. Trust her intentions.” Shubh, however, dismisses these claims, accusing Jhanak of ulterior motives. Bipasha adds fuel to the fire, accusing Jhanak of harassing Tejas. But Choton reveals a shocking truth: “Tejas forced Jhanak to marry him at gunpoint, threatening to kill Anirudh. Instead of blaming her, you should be grateful.”
The heated discussion shifts focus when Shubh accuses Jhanak of wanting to destroy Anirudh’s life. Anjana stands up for Jhanak, saying, “Marriage is her choice. Just because someone has wealth and power doesn’t mean she’s obligated to marry them.” Choton further defends Anirudh, explaining, “He only stepped in to prevent her life from being ruined. It’s unfair to blame him.”
Anirudh, grappling with his feelings, decides to step back. “I’m not feeling well. I’ll rest and stay out of your way,” he tells Jhanak. Despite his words, Jhanak feels conflicted, recalling his efforts to protect her. She begins to cry, overwhelmed by the situation.
In another room, Anirudh reflects on Jhanak’s words. “I thought she loved Rahul,” he muses. “But now I know the truth. She doesn’t love him, and yet, I feel relieved. Why do her words sting so much? Why can’t I forget this insult?” His thoughts spiral as he questions his emotions: “Do I love Jhanak?”
Jhanak, equally tormented, convinces herself, “I have no feelings for him. He’s Arshi’s fiancé. I need to focus on what’s right.” But her concern for Anirudh’s health overrides her resolve. When she discovers he’s unwell, she knocks on his door, only to find him lying in bed with a fever.
Panicked, she calls the reception for a doctor, only to be told none are available until morning. Determined to help, Jhanak rushes to get medicine herself. Along the way, she encounters an inspector who questions her sudden departure from college. She pleads for assistance, but her desperation goes unanswered.
Back at the hotel, Anirudh’s fever worsens as he wrestles with his emotions. “Why am I thinking about Jhanak? Why does her pain feel like my own?” he wonders. The episode ends with Jhanak’s resolve to care for Anirudh despite the emotional turmoil between them.
This gripping narrative explores themes of love, duty, and societal expectations, leaving viewers eager to see what unfolds next in this complex and emotional journey.
