Anupama’s Journey: Finding Hope and Connections in Dwarka
The story begins with Dolly having a conversation with Meenu over the phone. Baa interrupts and questions her about whom she’s talking to. Dolly dismissively says everyone calls her, but she laments that her own daughter calls her sister-in-law regularly while barely speaking to her. Baa empathizes but advises Dolly to reconcile with Sanjay Kumar. However, Dolly insists on being understood, expressing frustration about her failing health and inability to work. Anupama overhears the conversation and assures Baa that she’ll always take care of the family. Baa, however, warns Anupama that leaving might make it harder for her to find what she’s searching for.
Meanwhile, Prem is teased by his friends for his spiritual inclinations. They joke that he talks like someone from the ’70s. Prem brushes them off, saying he’s here to find his life’s purpose, not to chase after anyone. However, when he closes his eyes, he sees Aadhya and becomes confused. Soon, a man named Sattu approaches Prem and his friends, offering them a place to stay. As they leave in an auto, Aadhya spots them but misses the chance to approach. She jokingly tells her friend about the “hero” who left without explanation.
Anupama, preparing for her trip to Dwarka, reflects on her emotions about Anuj. She imagines him near and smiles at the thought of his lingering presence in her life. Mahi interrupts her musings, reminding her that she can’t visit Dwarka unprepared. Anupama sees Mahi as a blessing from Kanha ji, especially after losing Choti. She encourages Mahi to focus on her studies and promises to bring Prasad for everyone. Pari, one of the children, optimistically says new light will emerge, sparking hope in Anupama’s heart.
In Dwarka, Aadhya diligently works on solving financial issues at the ashram. When questioned about her dedication, she explains that the residents are like her family. At night, as the children struggle to sleep, Aadhya sings a lullaby learned from her mother. Simultaneously, Anupama sings the same lullaby for Mahi, Pari, and Ansh, showing a deep, unspoken connection between the two women.
The next day, Anupama prepares to leave with Ansh. She assigns tasks to Toshu, emphasizing the importance of quality in their food preparation. Before departing, she fondly reminds the family to eat the burgers she made. Baa’s parting words sting, claiming Anupama’s daughter is gone forever. Anupama counters, pointing out Baa’s hope for her own son’s return. As she leaves, memories of her daughter flood her mind, but she remains determined.
Elsewhere, Aadhya rushes to meet someone, only to have her slipper break. Prem appears, repairs her slipper, and advises her to use the mannat money pouch she carries to buy a peacock feather for the temple. Aadhya, harboring bitterness about her mother, remarks that not all mothers are good. Prem gently disagrees, insisting mothers are often misunderstood.
Their exchange is poignant, with the mannat money falling near Aadhya, symbolizing hope and reconciliation. In Dwarka, Anupama and Ansh arrive, waiting for Vyas to send someone. Aadhya, drenched from the rain and flustered, collides with Prem, leading to a mishap with his phone. Prem jokingly suggests Aadhya jump into the water to retrieve it. Meanwhile, their paths continue to converge, hinting at destined encounters.
