
The episode begins with Laxmi finding herself locked in the cold storage room. She immediately tries to call Rishi, but he doesn’t receive the call. When she tries to call Shalu, her phone is switched off due to drained battery. This upsets Laxmi even more.
On the other hand, Rishi regrets ignoring Laxmi’s call. When he calls her, Laxmi’s phone is switched off. He thinks Laxmi is just doing this out of anger, so he gets busy with the engagement preparations.
Shalu and Harleen ask Rishi to wait for Laxmi. Meanwhile, Malishka arrives late and everyone asks her the reason for her delay. The discussions regarding Laxmi’s absence get heated. Ayush also tries to call Laxmi, but Rishi stops him thinking it’s futile. Shalu’s worries grow while Dadi and Ayush search for Laxmi all over the house but she is nowhere to be found.
Lakshmi’s condition continues to worsen in the cold storage. She starts shivering and feels that there is no one to help her now. On the other hand, Malishka and Kiran insult Anushka when she seeks their support in stopping the engagement. Meanwhile, Rano explains to Shalu that Laxmi will come soon but Shalu’s heart is still restless.
Panditji warns that the shubh muhurat is for a limited time and Neelam insists that the engagement should not be stopped now. Meanwhile, Laxmi knocks on the door with all her might and calls Rishi’s name but her voice slowly starts getting weak. At the same time, Rishi suddenly feels uneasy and feels that something is wrong. He calls Laxmi again but she is too weak to respond.
Soon, Ayush tells Neelam that Lakshmi is nowhere to be seen in the entire house. Despite this, the engagement preparations continue.
