The episode begins with the Pradhan family preparing for Neil and Teju’s post-wedding rituals. Teju comes downstairs and Amrita praises her beauty. She also advises Teju to forget what happened during the grihapravesh. Prachi also supports her and says that today is a special day so let’s forget the past.
Meanwhile, Rituraj interrupts that everyone is not present. He tells them that Leena has locked herself in her room and the reason for this is Teju. He taunts and leaves.
Just when Neil and Teju are about to start the rituals, Leena comes and bitterly remarks that Neil got married without his mother and now he is performing the rituals without her. Neil replies that he tried his best to convince Leena, but they themselves got separated. Leena taunts him that if he forgot his mother so soon, there must be something lacking in his upbringing.
Nandini tries to calm Leena down, but Leena vents her anger on her. She says that when her son has ruined her life, she should not be expected to be happy.
Teju comes forward to defend herself. She asks Leena why she thinks Neil’s life has been ruined by marrying her. She clarifies that Neil got married of his own free will, while she did not get any choice. Leena calls it a drama.
Now Amrita comes forward and questions Leena’s behavior. She says that she cannot see Teju being insulted and will leave from there. When she asks if the rituals will be held now or not, Bhushan says that the wedding is done, there is no need for more drama.
The family then completes the ritual of applying haldi to Neel and Teju and bathes them with water.
Sweet ritual amid light moments
Now Amrita tells the next ritual in which Neel has to put a piece of coconut in his mouth and Teju has to eat it without touching it with her hands. Neel says that he will do it only if Teju says yes. Teju doesn’t say anything, but everyone takes it as her acceptance and teases the couple. Finally, Teju eats the coconut.
Meanwhile, Rituraj gets upset seeing all this. He feels that Teju didn’t marry him and married his doctor brother to show that she has no importance now. He blames Teju in his mind.
Neel’s love and promise
Later, Amrita gives Neel a saree and asks him to bless Teju. While giving the saree, Neel tells Teju that he will always support her in fulfilling her dreams.
Rituraj tries to provoke Neil and says that every girl has a boyfriend before marriage. Neil calmly replies that the same applies to boys as well. He says that when he gets married, he himself will tell his wife about his past. Rituraj gets quiet but taunts that he himself will tell Neil about Teju’s past. Jeetu teases him at this.
Teju’s greeting to Neil and final rituals
Amrita tells Teju to touch Neil’s feet and take his blessings. Teju hesitates and Leena taunts again. Neil tells Leena to stop now. Eventually, Teju touches Neil’s feet and Neil blesses her that he will always support her dreams.
Prachi says that now both of them should go to their rooms and take rest. But Rituraj reminds that they cannot live together until all the post-wedding rituals are over. Neil asks Teju to rest in the room and himself goes to the guest room.

Precap: Rituraj confronts Teju and says that she left him and married his brother. He swears that as long as he is in the music industry, Teju will not be able to become a professional singer. As he leaves, Neil overhears all this and learns about Teju and Rituraj’s past relationship.
