Ballu insists Durjan intervene and demands Harish reveal what he’s hiding. Despite the pressure, Harish refuses, leading to a heated argument. Durjan steps in, urging both to focus on the upcoming festival instead of bickering, bringing the tension to a temporary halt.
Jagriti 1st January 2025 Written Update
As the essay competition progresses, Jagriti delivers a moving speech about the Chitta community, earning widespread applause. The host announces the winners: Sapna and Jagriti must share the first prize. However, Sapna refuses to share the honor and storms off. Geeta proposes that Jagriti should receive the prize from Kalikant’s hands, a suggestion Rup Chand supports. Despite initial reluctance, Kalikant agrees. To everyone’s surprise, Jagriti requests that the award ceremony take place during the Shantytown festival the next day, ensuring the community can witness the moment. Rup Chand and Kalikant, though hesitant, concede.
Later, Kalikant is approached by Ballu, who reveals Harish’s suspicious behavior. Ballu reports that Harish might be hiding evidence against Kalikant. Alarmed, Kalikant instructs Ballu to retrieve the evidence at all costs. Kalikant then confides in Kalindi, suspecting that Jagriti’s invitation to the festival is a ploy to expose him. Kalindi panics, but Kalikant reassures her, declaring, “No one can dethrone the king of the jungle.”
The story takes a heartwarming turn as Geeta commends Jagriti for her courage and eloquence. However, some community members criticize Geeta for supporting Jagriti, citing prejudices against the Chitta people. Geeta boldly defends her stance, advocating for unity and mutual respect.
