Suraj and Jagriti fall off a dangerous cliff. As Jagriti drowns in the water, memories of her past come flooding back. Sapna stands above, watching the horrific scene, fear evident in her eyes. After falling into the water, Jagriti slowly regains consciousness and finds herself on the shore. She tries to put together the pieces of her past, especially the memories of her parents and their murder. Thinking of all this, she gets emotional and starts drowning in the water again, but Suraj saves her and scolds her for her carelessness. Jagriti remembers that Suraj once hated her.
She pushes him away and accuses him of hiding the truth. She remembers that Kalikant and Suraj hated the Chitta community and that Suraj did not want to reveal the truth for fear that Kalikant would take away his inheritance. Jagriti is now determined to tell Akash everything – that he is actually Jaggu. Suraj pleads with her not to do so, but she does not listen to him. Meanwhile, Sapna is worried about Jagriti. When she tells Akash about her scary dream in which she saw Akash dying, Akash assures her that she is fine. But during this, Jagriti is watching them from a distance.
Jagriti’s conscience comes to her and asks her if it is right to tell Akash the truth. Jagriti says that it is necessary, but her spirit reminds her that doing so will break Sapna’s heart and Akash will leave her. Later, when Akash sees Suraj and Jagriti drenched, he asks them what happened. Suraj immediately makes an excuse. After Akash leaves, Suraj thanks Jagriti for not telling the truth, but Jagriti coldly replies that she did all this for Sapna, not for him.
Now Jagriti is struggling with her fate. She realizes that she has become the daughter-in-law of the man she hates- Kalikant. On the other hand, Kalikant punishes a chitta man for marrying outside his caste. His men beat him brutally. Jagriti, enraged, rushes forward to save him, but Sooraj stops her. Jagriti, in anger, snatches Sooraj’s gun and decides to do something.
The victim boldly declares that there will always be someone like Jagriti who will fight for the Chitta community. Jagriti is further emboldened on hearing this. When Kalikant orders him to be killed, Jagriti fearlessly stops him and warns him that if he does so, the media will expose his crimes, which could end his political career.
At the same time, a foreigner arrives and offers Kalikant a billion rupees in exchange for illegal animal skins and organs. He demands the deal to be completed within a week. Kalikant immediately accepts the offer.
Jagriti overhears everything and decides to foil the deal and kill Kalikant.
