The episode starts with Jhanak telling the judge that she got to know about Srishti’s truth because of Brij Bhushan. She reveals that Srishti betrayed Brij Bhushan and also reveals that her death happened because of Srishti and Kul Bhushan. Jhanak further reveals that she came back to Bose house because of Anirudh and Arshi and stayed there because of Chotan.
He took care of Arshi during her pregnancy. The day Arshi got labor pain, the whole Bose family was busy with Chotan’s post-wedding rituals, leaving Arshi alone in the hospital. Jhanak recalls that the hospital nurse did not give her any information about Arshi’s delivery. She tells the judge that she suspected that Omkar’s child might be Arshi’s.
She explains that when she has a bright future, why would she get involved in a crime like child trafficking? She requests the judge to give the verdict now as she has told the whole truth. The judge asks if anyone wants to oppose Jhanak’s statement. Arshi comes forward and says that she opposes it. Meanwhile, Mimi wants to speak, but Shubh tries to stop her. Mrinalini interrupts and says that Mimi should get the right to stand by the truth. Mimi comes forward to testify and accepts that her family, including herself, has done injustice to Jhanak.
Mr. Roy argues that Mimi’s words are not related to the case, but the judge allows her to speak. Mimi says that Jhanak never tried to break any family. Srishti asks Arshi what Mimi is saying.
Mimi clarifies that Jhanak had left the Bose house many times, but every time she was forced to come back. She felt that the family was mentally torturing Jhanak, so she decided to support her. She also reveals that the complaint filed against Jhanak was baseless and she was not involved in any child trafficking. The judge asks her to sit down.
Jhanak’s lawyer asks Arshi if she thinks Jhanak was responsible for her child’s death. Arshi says that Jhanak purposely did not inform the family. The lawyer further asks if she thinks her family could have saved the child. Arshi replies that maybe they could have. The doctor is then called to testify, who makes it clear that Jhanak was not responsible for the child’s death. She reveals that an unfortunate incident took place in the nursery. The judge asks about Omkar, and Mr. Roy explains that Omkar does not want to be involved in this case.
This angers the judge and asks if anyone else wants to say anything. Anirudh comes forward and says that Jhanak never harmed anyone, yet she had to suffer a lot. He insists that Jhanak is a talented dancer and has a bright future. Srishti objects and asks why Jhanak’s personal life is being dragged into the court, but the judge silences her. Anirudh gets emotional and says that Jhanak is not guilty for her child’s death and requests the court not to let his family ruin Jhanak’s life. He also says that Jhanak has been wrongly sent to jail and should get the right to live with dignity. He urges the judge to release her.
Police officer Sanjay informs the court that Jhanak is innocent. The judge declares that there is no solid evidence against Jhanak and dismisses the case. Jhanak is officially declared innocent. Anirudh and Jhanak feel relieved after hearing this.
Anirudh goes to Jhanak, but the inspector stops him and says that he has to wait till the legal process is completed. Anirudh assures Jhanak that he will wait for her outside and start a new life with her. Arshi gets shocked after hearing his words. But Jhanak sees Arshi and decides in her mind that she will not come between Aniruddha and his family. She swears that she will never meet Aniruddha now. She thanks Mimi, who replies that she just supported the truth. The police take Jhanak out.
Later, when Jhanak comes out, Bipasha hugs her and introduces her to her brother Chirag. Jhanak tells that she intends to leave the city, but will stay at Bipasha’s house for a few days. Bipasha gives her sweets, and Jhanak, who was not eating properly for a long time, accepts it. Bipasha asks her to eat everything and silently watches her intently.
Precap: Aniruddha learns that Jhanak has left the court. Jhanak suddenly feels dizzy and asks Chirag what is happening to her.
