Episode Recap: Brij Bhushan’s Quest for Justice, Family Conflict, and Deep-Rooted Tensions
This episode opens with Brij Bhushan speaking to his lawyer, expressing his desire for the world to recognize him as Jhanak’s father and to reveal that he is the real Brij Bhushan. He insists that Kul Bhushan must face punishment, especially for the pain caused to his daughter and Urvashi. The lawyer advises Brij Bhushan to gather documentation to support these claims and urges him to recall any relevant memories that might strengthen their case. Brij Bhushan reveals that he lacks funds but has a supportive friend who will assist him with payments. To his surprise, the lawyer says he won’t require fees, as this is his first time taking on a case of this nature.
Meanwhile, Srishti and Vinayak arrive at Aniruddh’s house, where they’re greeted by Shubhankar and Tanuja. Tanuja explains that Aniruddh is unwell, and Arshi is by his side, taking care of him. As they discuss family matters, the topic of Jhanak arises, which Vinayak prefers to avoid. Despite this, Srishti asserts she’s only speaking the truth. Anjana then offers coffee or tea, and Srishti mentions that Anjana is always in the kitchen. Tanuja explains that with the cook absent, Anjana is responsible for handling all kitchen duties.
Anjana denies any role in the cook’s departure, but Bipasha jumps in, pointing out that Anjana’s passion for cooking keeps her occupied there. Choton, in a rare moment, criticizes Bipasha for shirking household responsibilities, suggesting they should hire a cook instead. However, Shubhankar insists that only family members should prepare meals in their kitchen, and soon a lighthearted tension emerges as Choton delegates cooking duties between Tanuja and Bipasha.
Tanuja, suspecting Mrinalini’s influence over Choton’s newfound assertiveness, comments on the situation, and Bablu advises Choton to drop the issue. However, Laal criticizes his mother, Anjana, accusing her of initiating family arguments. Anjana retorts that she has every right to correct Laal, and defends her contributions to the household, noting that while Laal offers no financial support, Bablu and Choton contribute to the family’s expenses.
Back at Brij Bhushan’s legal consultation, the lawyer asks about Kul Bhushan’s whereabouts. Brij Bhushan explains he’s unsure, suspecting that Kul Bhushan may be planning his next move. Nutan steps in, stating she wants Brij Bhushan’s name to remain the focus, not her mother’s. The lawyer reassures Nutan that Srishti is indeed her mother, and this fact will come to light.
The family discord escalates when Laal announces he’s leaving the house, prompting Aniruddh and Arshi to intervene. Aniruddh questions what’s going on, and Bipasha takes the opportunity to remind Laal that the house isn’t Anjana’s alone. Vinayak retorts, pointing out that it’s not Bipasha’s house, either, while Srishti tries to calm Vinayak, encouraging him to stay out of the dispute. Aniruddh turns to Anjana to understand if Laal insulted her, and Choton steps up to explain the situation. Shubhankar expresses regret for the commotion and apologizes to Srishti and Vinayak.
In the midst of this tense moment, Srishti brings up the anniversary party, reminding everyone of the upcoming celebration. Vinayak requests that Aniruddh join the festivities, to which Aniruddh responds hesitantly, citing his health but hinting that he may still attend. Arshi, feeling that Aniruddh’s presence is a priority, assures him of her constant support.
The episode wraps up with Brij Bhushan mentioning a dance competition to his lawyer, possibly a stepping stone in his journey for justice.
