At Jaya’s house, Rannvijay confronts her, demanding the truth about her relationship with Kunal. Despite his persistence, Jaya continues to deny everything. However, under pressure, she finally admits the truth—she had to lie because their marriage felt suffocating and loveless. She questions why anyone would want to remain trapped in such a relationship. Rannvijay asks why she didn’t reveal the truth earlier. Jaya confesses that her lie brought respect and dignity, something her truth could never achieve.
Heartbroken, Rannvijay leaves Jaya’s house. Vaiju senses the storm’s ominous nature, fearing it might be a bad omen, but she holds onto hope that nothing will ruin their marriage. Driving through the storm, Rannvijay is consumed by guilt and Jaya’s revelations. Vaiju tries calling him repeatedly, but he doesn’t answer. Distraught, she writes their names together again and prays for his safety. Jaya, left alone, cries silently. When Rannvijay finally arrives home, he finds Vaiju asleep on the sofa, having waited for him. The poignant melody of “Humari Adhuri Kahani” plays in the background as Rannvijay recalls his marriage to Vaiju. When Vaiju wakes, she asks him what happened.
Rannvijay, burdened by guilt, admits he couldn’t bring her the surprise he had planned. Vaiju reassures him, saying his presence is all she needs. She then surprises him by confessing her love with a red rose, promising they will never be separated. Though deeply touched, Rannvijay silently struggles with the weight of Jaya’s lie, feeling unable to begin a new chapter with Vaiju under such circumstances. He sheds tears quietly as Vaiju embraces him.
The next morning, Vaiju prepares for the day with a smile, admiring Rannvijay as he sleeps. She applies her vermillion, symbolizing their bond, and lovingly hugs him. When he wakes, she questions him about his late arrival the previous night. Rannvijay brushes off her concerns, urging her to focus on the rituals planned for the day. He compliments her beauty, bringing a smile to her face. However, Vaiju senses an underlying worry in Rannvijay and wonders what might be troubling him.
