Kusum, still unsettled, discusses Sowmya’s return with Mangal. Mangal silently worries, knowing a deeper truth that Kusum is unaware of, leaving her unsure how Kusum would handle it.
Meanwhile, Sowmya confronts Adit, frustrated that he hasn’t told Kusum the truth about her condition. Sowmya emphasizes that hiding her pregnancy isn’t an option. Adit, still processing the news, asks for more time to come to terms with it, which sparks a tense exchange between them.
Back in the kitchen, Mangal is distracted by a customer’s complaint about overly salted food. Apologizing, she promises to fix the issue and ensures it won’t happen again. Kusum, noticing Mangal’s stress, inquires about her mood. Mangal denies anything is wrong and quickly exits the conversation.
Later, the doorbell rings, and Kusum answers to find a delivery boy with Sowmya’s medical reports. As Kusum tries to look at the reports, Adit intervenes, taking them away. Kusum, skeptical, reminds Adit that she’s experienced in reading medical reports, especially from Mangal’s pregnancy. She demands to know what’s wrong with Sowmya, but Adit avoids answering.
Amidst this tension, Akshat approaches Adit, excited about winning first place in a 100-meter race at his school’s sports day. He reminds Adit about the prize distribution ceremony. Adit reassures Akshat that he will attend, offering a brief respite from the household drama.
Elsewhere, Karthik is seen dismissing an invitation to Jia’s birthday party, which he tosses aside. Gayatri advises him to reconsider attending, warning about rumors circulating about him and Jia. She suggests he maintain a facade of normalcy to protect his reputation. Karthik reluctantly agrees to go but decides not to bring Lakshmi, as their relationship has been strained since she found photos of him and Jia. Before leaving, Gayatri calls Jia, reminding her not to jeopardize Karthik’s image further.
Back at the house, Kusum is shown performing a prayer ritual when she notices dust on the ceiling fan. She insists Sowmya clean it, despite her protests. Forced to comply, Sowmya climbs a ladder but becomes dizzy and falls. Adit catches her just in time and reprimands Kusum for making Sowmya work despite her weakened condition. He declares that Sowmya will no longer do household chores and plans to hire a maid, much to Kusum’s dismay. Kusum criticizes Adit, stating they’ve managed without a maid for years. Mangal intervenes, offering to take over the task, but Kusum questions her motives, further fueling the tension.
Later, Adit and Mangal head to Akshat’s school together. Mangal suggests she could have gone alone, but Adit insists on accompanying her to prevent gossip among other parents. Their conversation quickly turns heated as Mangal accuses Adit of hiding the truth from Kusum. Adit counters, accusing her of enjoying his predicament. Upset, Mangal demands Adit stop the car, and their argument culminates in Mangal angrily throwing a water bottle to the ground, shattering it.
As the episode closes, viewers are left on edge, anticipating how these intertwined secrets and tensions will unravel in the next episode.
