The episode begins with Vinod and Satish’s phone conversation. Vinod tells Satish that they are coming on Sunday to discuss the wedding preparations and finalise the relationship. Satish happily invites them and praises Juhi. Vinod replies that when they meet Juhi, he too will not be able to stop himself from praising her. Meanwhile, Neil overhears their conversation.
After ending the call, Vinod reminds Neil that there is a wedding meeting on Sunday at 6 PM. Neil reluctantly asks if it is necessary for him to go there. Vinod reminds him of his promise that he will marry the girl chosen by the family. Neil finds himself in a dilemma- if he listens to his parents, he will not have to listen to his heart and if he listens to his heart, he fears that he will hurt his parents’ feelings.
He wonders how Teju came into his heart. However, he agrees to attend the meeting but makes it clear that no pressure should be put on him. After Neil leaves, Leena gets worried, she fears that Neil might find out the truth that he is not their biological son but an adopted son.
Meanwhile, Teju sits down to have breakfast after washing clothes. But Lakshmi stops her and orders her to grind the spices first. Teju gets blisters on her hands while grinding the spices. Getting emotional, she remembers her father Mohit and starts singing a song to console herself.
Aditi and other members of the house hear her melodious voice. Lakshmi angrily throws the thali on the ground and scolds Teju to stop singing. Shocked by Lakshmi’s reaction, Aditi questions her. Lakshmi bitterly reveals that Mohit always wanted a wife who could sing, and that was the reason he never truly loved her.
She declares that as long as she is in this house, Teju will never be allowed to sing. Lakshmi orders that everyone should do their chores. Aditi protests, pointing out that Teju already does all the household chores and now has painful blisters on her hands. In response, Lakshmi slaps Aditi and warns that she won’t hesitate to slap her again if she takes Teju’s side. Aditi pleads that Teju not be hit, but Lakshmi ignores her and asks everyone to leave.
Scared to see Teju’s pain, Juhi offers to grind spices for Teju. But Lakshmi warns her and everyone else in a stern tone that there is no need to help Teju and her disobedience will not be tolerated.

Precap
Lakshmi accuses Mukhta of trapping a married man and asks her if she has no shame. Teju bravely warns Lakshmi not to insult her mother, saying she can tolerate anything for herself but will not tolerate her mother’s insult.
Meanwhile, Neel’s family reaches Chavan Niwas for the wedding meeting. Neel is shocked to see Teju there.
