Zendaya: Actress Zendaya hinted at her engagement by wearing a diamond ring on her hand on the red carpet of the 2025 Golden Globes. Zendaya and Tom Holland are officially engaged, but that doesn’t mean they are planning to get married soon.
According to sources, the couple will get engaged in late 2024 and they are currently in no rush to get married. According to ‘People’, Tom proposed to Zendaya while spending time with his family during the holidays. A source said, “Tom has been wanting to propose to Zendaya for a long time. People close to him already knew about the engagement.”
The ‘People’ source also said, “Tom has always been crazy about Zendaya. He always knew that Zendaya was his true soulmate.”
The couple announced their engagement to their friends around New Year’s Eve and after that Zendaya showed off her beautiful diamond ring on the red carpet of the Golden Globes 2025. According to the report, the ring is a 5.02 carat East-West cushion cut diamond ring designed by London-based jeweler Jessica McCormack.
Apart from this ring, Zendaya also showed off a small “T” tattoo on her body, which further solidifies her and Tom’s relationship. It is believed that she got this tattoo after the engagement, although it looked a bit old too.
Even though the two are very happy with their engagement, they have not started wedding preparations yet. At the moment, they want to live this beautiful time and focus on their upcoming projects. “They will not rush into marriage right now as both are busy with their careers,” reports ‘People’.
However, it is clear that the couple is thinking about their future. In an interview, Tom Holland while talking to ‘Men’s Health’ said, “When I have children, you will not see me in films. I will play golf and enjoy being a father. I will be completely away from the limelight.” So, when will the wedding happen? On December 18, in the ‘Dish’ podcast, Tom told that he is spending this year’s holidays with Zendaya’s family. Also, he also said that in 2025, he is planning to bring both the families together. He said, “We want to bring both the families together from next time instead of spending time with each family every year. This time, because we are both actors and are not good at arranging things, it was not possible. But this idea has come to mind.” In such a situation, it is possible that the couple may tie the knot in the winter of 2025 or 2026.
